James Geirmans VW Project

Stopped to see James yesterday to drop off some pieces I made for his new aluminum front beam. He's in the process of setting up the front end. I guess the front beam thats in the car now is too wide and the shock tower location isn't going to work. His new beam is a combination of modified original shock towers mated to narrower aluminum tubes. And instead of using the red nylon bushing for the torsion bars, we machined the new set-up to use the original press fit German bearings for cleaner movement. This set is a pound and a half heavier than that aftermarket beam but still about eighteen pounds liter than stock.
