Steves Ironhead

Steve Write has a couple of nice Sportsters.
One Evo, that he rides everywhere and
this Ironhead that he had at the BornFree show.
We helped him out quite a bit with the Evo, however, I still
think like this one a bit more. Nice work!

Nine Spoke FXR Wheels For Sale

I have a new project to start but in order to finish it, I'm going to need to get rid of some of my stuff. The first, and I hate to see them go, is this set of 9 spoke FXR wheels. They were in great condition with no scratches or dings in the lips. I had all the machined surfaces polished and the cast surfaces powder coated silver. Then I had the whole wheel clear powder coated. These pictures were taken today so what you see is what you'll get. All hardware included. For more info, e-mail me (bmotomo@aol.com.) Thanks.

Top Shelf Customs '90 FXR Rebuild

Rod Lemond brought this FXR to us in about five boxes. He said he didn't care what it was going to cost, he just wanted us to do a full nut and bolt restoration with a few upgrade to make the bike perform better than it had. Anyway, here's what he rode away on. Aside from what you can see in the pictures, the motor was torn down and cylinders bored .020. Cylinder heads were ported by Dave Mackie and got new valves, guides and valve springs. New cam and lifters to work with the 10:1 JE pistons, dyna 2000i ignition and a 42mm mikuni carb.

Century Cycles Fathers Day Show San Pedro 17th and Pacific

Every fathers day, for at least twenty years now, Century Cycles in San Pedro holds their open house/ride-in motorcycle show. Not a real big event but definitely a cool fathers day tradition. Always a bunch of old timers with great stories about their bikes and their racing. A bunch unusual motorcycles, music and good eats. It's one of my favorite local shows. Here are some shots from this years show.

Fear - New York's Alright If You Like Saxaphones

Al Raposo gets a Bagger

Al picked up another bike, an FXDXT, sometimes called "the young guy bagger. He's been looking for one of these for a while but since they didn't make very many of them, you rarely see them up for sae. Craig helped him find this one. He slipped a six speed gear set in it and took it on it's maiden voyage up to Petaluma, said it ran like a top. Stay tuned, he's got a lot of plans for this one.
