Finding the tipping point

I was once told, the trick to riding a wheelie is finding the balancing point. This was my first go-round on a 500+ pound Harley though . I've seen a lot of other people do it so, how hard could it be? Well, turns out it's actually pretty tricky, compared to the dirt bike anyway. The thing's real heavy and the power-to-weight ratio is so outa wack. You have to ring it's neck right before you let the clutch go just to get the wheel off the ground. And you really have to kill it in order to really get it to stand up to the tipping point. Well, I found it, after about an hour and who know how many attempts. It was gnarly though!

2010 East coast Supercross Lites Champion Christophe Pourcel.
Thats two in a row for Pourcel. Look for him in the 450 class next year.

On the podium in Houston
1.Pourcel
2.Bagget
3.Barcia

Bret Metcalfe was on his way to the podium but a small mistake put
him back to 4th. His day is coming.

The first lap of any race is gnarly but the first lap of
an AMA Supercross Lites race can be
reeeally gnarly, these kid are hungry!

The Jalopy

This project started back in 2002. I was on a shoe string budget so it took me about a year to finish it. I guess you could call it a theme bike, but, it's still one of my favorites.

Street Trackers

Both of these look like a lot of fun.
